Borneo bound!!

I booked a flight for Borneo! Borneo is a small island of the east coast of Malaysia. On Borneo is the country Bruni, Indonesia, and Malaysia. In Malaysia on Borneo there are two states, Sarawaka and Saba. I flew into a city called Kaching in Saeawaka. 

When I was on the plane everyone was talking about the rainforest world music festival. I had arrived during the festival! So I dropped my things at the closest hostel and took a bus to the frstival! 

This festival was a beautiful mix of all cultures from around the world. It was an amazing experience. I heard music iv never heard and saw new instruments. 

Throughout the day they had workshops. I arrived at 11am and went to four workshops! I went to an Irish clogging workshop, drums from around the world, Malay music, drum circle and  bead painting. During these workshops I was able to learn about different cultures and have fun with people from around the world. 

At night starting around 7pm-12am they had concerts. The night I was there I heard 5 groups play; a Ukraine group, Malay group, German group, Italian group and Austeriallian group.
